Quenby Hall is a spectacular Leicestershire wedding venue, just 7 miles from Leicester and bordering the county of Rutland.

The setting of Quenby is perfect for weddings and civil partnerships, the Leicester wedding venue providing both romance and a sense of scale in beautiful rooms which provide a sense of warmth and intimacy. It is ideally suited for everything from a very small private wedding, to a country-style barn dance for 100, or a marquee wedding in our garden pavilion for up to 150.  There's even a romantic holiday cottage to stay in afterwards. 

Yet it’s the expertise and dedication of our friendly team that makes a wedding at Quenby such a special experience, and the personal touch is everywhere. It is not open to the public and because Quenby Hall is a family home we limit the number of events throughout the year. All clients have exclusive use of the house and will have the peace of mind that another client won’t be leaving just as they are arriving.

You can have a special day from beginning to end, tailored to your own wishes, for example:

• A beautiful bedroom and bathroom for preparation and dressing of the bride.

• A civil marriage or partnership ceremony in the historic panelled Brown Parlour or the larger country style Old Dairy. 

• A reception for up to 150 guests inside the house.

• The elegant garden pavilion marquee and bar for dining and dancing for 150.

• Accommodation for up to 6 in three bedrooms in The Garden Cottage, adjoining the Garden Pavilion. Perfect for wedding night, parents or friends.

• Quenby Hall’s co-ordinating staff, to see your wedding through from initial viewing until your wonderful day.

• Car parking

From January to April the Old Dairy beside the house provides a delightful country-style hall for up to 70 people seated, with high beams and an open fireplace. Dancing for up to 120 is permitted here and there is a cosy bar.

Other Cultures:  Weddings of other cultures are welcomed.  We have lots of experience of relatively small Hindu weddings and shaadi's - if you wish, we can help you to have both your civil ceremony and Hindu ceremony at Quenby on the same day, or on two days together.

Log fires will be lit as appropriate.

Management and catering

The Management at Quenby Hall have many years experience in all aspects of planning and co-ordination of a successful event and will gladly provide assistance based on their individual knowledge and experience.

Our caring hospitality team will look after you and your guests throughout the day, assisting with parking, greeting on arrival and general co-ordination.

We offer a wine list and run a pay bar when required.

In addition, we will recommend companies in whom we have absolute confidence, who are able to provide entertainment, marquees, lighting, flowers, activities and other services. We can help you to decide who and what you would prefer.

New Wedding Marquee for Leicestershire and Rutland

We are very excited to tell you about our beautiful new designer Garden Pavilion marquee with dance floor, lighting, bar and clipped lawns. We are now able to accommodate up to  200 guests; from ceremony, through reception to the banquet and dancing. Set in the lavender and rose gardens beside Quenby Hall, it will make your magical day complete. Bookings are now being taken and offer fabulous value. It is an elegant and romantic marquee and a superb addition to the range of Leicestershire and Rutland's wedding venues.
