The Approach

Nestling between trees on top of a hill, the house can only occasionally be seen amongst the surrounding countryside. It retains a discreet quality all it's own.

The approach to Quenby is breathtaking as the house presents itself dramatically as you round a bend up the half-mile drive through the front park.

Exterior Views & Features

The floodlighting provides for a stunning night facade where guests' carriages can bring them right to the door through the park. With magnificent ancient cedars and beeches, the back lawn provides a superb platform for filming and from which to view the surrounding countryside.

It provides an ideal location for marquees for up to 250 guests, which can be accessed from the front of the house, through the Great Hall.

The front park provides ample parking for all events and film unit support vehicles.

  The Walled Garden

To the left of the house on approach lies the walled garden, complete with statues, a summer house and dry moat, all accessed through an ornate wrought iron gate. It is a tranquil place ideal for wedding photography, summer events and filming possibilities.
